GURUGRAM: A Delhi resident (42) was allegedly gang-raped — first in a room and then in a transferring three-wheeler — through a minimum of five males after she were given off a bus and boarded an auto-rickshaw near Manesar on NH-Eight on Saturday afternoon. She was dumped in an unconscious state in the back of a dhaba at the expressway over 12 hours later early Sunday.
The incident comes as a horrific reminder of a similar case, wherein three males had raped a 19-year-old lady and killed her eight-month-old baby in Gurgaon on May 29 last 12 months.
The police have arrested five auto drivers, together with the primary accused who had first picked her up, whilst seek is on to nab a sixth accused in this latest case.
Her hours-long ordeal began after she took an auto-rickshaw from Nakhrola Chowk on NH-Eight round 2.20pm to reach the company in IMT-Manesar her past due husband worked with. Police stated the lady had come to town through bus to settle some financial problems with the company, where her husband used to paintings as a contractor. He had passed away in 2013.
Apart from the driving force, who was later identified as Ankit, some other auto driver Deepak was also within the auto.
Instead of taking her to IMT-Manesar, Ankit drove her to Deepak’s room at Bhangrola, round 4km from the pick-up spot on NH-Eight. A third guy was already ready there. Ankit and Deepak took turns to rape her several occasions, whilst the third guy molested her. Her struggling did not finish there.
Around 9pm, Ankit and Deepak put her back within the auto and drove her to Rampura mod near NH-Eight, where they handed her over to 2 different auto drivers. The two then referred to as some other males. While one drove the car across the space for over an hour, the 2 others males raped her within the auto.
Finally, those males dumped her in the back of a dhaba near Rampura flyover previous nighttime. She was unconscious and had lost her mobile phone all through the nightmarish shuttle. It was early on Sunday when a passerby spotted her and took her to police.
Based at the lady’s complaint, police arrested Ankit, Deepak, Mahipal, Ajit and Sunnu on Sunday. While Deepak hails from Bhangrola, the other four belong to Rampura village. All of them are auto drivers and within the age group of 24-27 years, stated police.
An FIR has been registered under sections 376-D (gang rape), 120-B (felony conspiracy) of the IPC on the girls’s police station, Manesar. Police are accomplishing raids to nab the sixth accused, who remains to be absconding. They stated a 7th particular person might also be involved in this horrific case.
