Banas Dairy’s ‘take-home ration’ plant inaugurated

Palanpur: Chief minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated Banas Dairy’s "take-home ration" plant in Palanpur on Saturday.

The plant built at the cost of Rs 28.five crore will help infants lactating mothers and adolescent girls to struggle malnutrition.


The plant has a capacity of making five,368 metric tonne in keeping with yr with 200 metric tone in keeping with day output.


The central govt had assigned the task of providing nutritious supplements to youngsters and girls to Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which has handed over the duty to Amul Dairy, Banas Dairy and Sumul Dairy.


Banas Dairy THR plan will supply meals wealthy in micronutrients to 12 districts and 17,932 anganwadis.
