MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) strike will continue on Friday as talks between Union leaders and officers failed on Thursday evening.
BEST Workers Union president Shashank Rao said a gathering used to be performed within the presence of Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta and BEST basic supervisor Surendrakumar Bagde.
"They have not given any proposals/offers to fulfil our demands. Since workers' problems have been ignored and they have not provided any solution to redress their grievances, we are continuing with the strike," he said.
The strike inconvenienced ratings of commuters on day 3 and individuals are frustrated to suppose if the strike continues, it is going to cause even more hardships.
