TRICHY: Burglars broke open a branch of Punjab National Bank close to Samayapuram in Trichy district of Tamil Nadu and escaped with money and jewellery from 5 lockers. The robbery came to gentle when bank officers opened the branch on Monday morning.
Preliminary inquiries published that the miscreants burglars entered the strongroom of the bank after drilling a hole at the wall. The bank used to be closed on Saturday evening, and Sunday used to be a vacation. Inquiries have been on to determine when the crime had came about.
Police mentioned the whole value of gold and money which were stolen may just only be ascertained based on the remark of the shoppers who used the 5 lockers. The shoppers were asked to report to the bank, police mentioned.
