BENGALURU: The woodland mobile of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has cracked a big poaching gang and have seized 19 deer horns and two antlers in Kundapura in Udupi district on Thursday.
According to the sources the arrested gang individuals are Uday, Ravi, Deepak, Ravichandra Shetty and Girish, aged between 32-35 , residents of Kundapura.
Based on a reputable information, the CID police within the cover of possible consumers have made a maintain the accused to shop for deer horns and antlers. They carried it in an Omni van and have been nabbed around 2pm. The police registered a case at regional woodland place of work and the probe is underway.
The police mentioned that the entire weight of the horns and antlers is around 50 kgs. We are but to know from where they were given those organs.
