PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: A public bicycle sharing device will likely be started under the Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City Project at the Akurdi railway station, Nigdi-Pradhikaran and Chinchwad.
“Nominal fees would be taken from the bicyclists,” stated joint leader government officer Nilkanth Poman He added that the cycle stations would be positioned alongside the roads. “Electronic tags will observe where a cycle is picked up from and the station where it's returned. Cycles with absolutely automated locking device at stations will permit customers to test cycles in or out without the need for staffing at the station,” he stated.
There would be other cell apps and cash wallets. One can pay by means of bank cards, internet banking, and debit playing cards, Poman stated.
In its first segment, the bicycle sharing device used to be started in August 2018 on the BRTS corridor from Pimple Saudagar to Wakad and in Pimple Gurav.
