GORAKHPUR: The police arrested former MLA Raju Singh from Baghouchghat turn at Fazilnagar in Kushinagar past due Tuesday night time and used to be handed over to Delhi STF on Wednesday.
Singh used to be accused of hurting a woman in celebratory firing right through New Year celebrations in Delhi.
"With the help of the SUV's number given by the Delhi STF, the Patherwa police arrested Raju Singh and his driver Hari Singh late on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, he was handed over to Delhi STF in Kushinagar. The STF sleuths also seized the SUV," stated inspector Rajiv Kumar Singh, Fazilnagar police publish beneath Patherwa police station.
When SHO Patherwa, Sanjay Mishra, used to be requested about main points, he stated, "The Delhi police seeked our help and cooperation and we arrested the ex-MLA along with his driver."
