Gangster shot, 20 mins after getting ‘dekh loonga’ threat

NOIDA: Dharmendra Vikal alias Dharmi, a history-sheeter, was once allegedly dragged from house and shot dead by way of unidentified assailants in Dadri early on Saturday, 20 minutes after a caller who known himself as gangster Randeep Bhati promised to “train you a lesson (dekh loonga)”.

Dharmi, who has around a dozen circumstances lodged in opposition to him for homicide, loot, snatching and under provisions of the Goonda and Gangster Acts between 2003 and 2012, was once forced into an SUV by way of a group of unidentified assailants and brought away on Friday night time. Earlier on Friday, Dharmi was once concerned about a clash with three youngsters after his Innova was once allegedly hit by way of another car on Railway Road. The youngsters — Vivek Singh, Paikar Singh and Gyanendra Singh — all citizens of Sunpura village, allegedly got here to blows with Dharmi and his accomplices. “The caller threatened to kill my uncle. Later, another caller who known himself as Babli Nagar of Greater Noida’s Sadullapur threatened him. Around 9.30pm, as many as Eight-10 men got here in two SUVs and barged into the home. They started firing within the air and took away my uncle,” Dharmi’s nephew mentioned within the complaint. Around 6am on Saturday, information started doing the rounds that Dharmi’s body were recovered in Roopwas village. Sources mentioned as many as 5 bullets were pumped into his body.


Police have lodged a case in opposition to the three youths — Vivek, Paikar, Gyanendra — and Babli Nagar, Randeep Bhati and Eight-10 unknown individuals under sections 147 (rioting), 148 (rioting armed with deadly weapon), 149 (illegal assembly to blame of offence dedicated in prosecution of common object), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the IPC, amongst others.
