KANPUR: Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial (GSVM) clinical college government expelled six junior residents (junior docs) from the hostel on Wednesday for thrashing interns on the college campus.
College principal Dr Arti Lalchandani dominated out that it used to be a case of ragging and said that in the written criticism the scholars had mentioned that it used to be a case of clash.
An 8 member anti-ragging committee headed via head of pathology division Dr Mahendra Singh is carrying out the inquiry into the incident which happened on January 1. A preliminary document of the motion taken in this case will probably be submitted to the federal government on Thursday and a detailed document will probably be given after the inquiry committee submits its document.
According to the preliminary studies of the committee junior docs trespassed into the hostel (BH-4) of the interns and thrashed them brutally over some previous dispute.
They also ransacked motorcycles parked on the hostel campus and broken furnishings. The six junior docs had been expelled from the hostel with instant impact.
