Police catch woman with 2.75 kg charas

PACNHKULA: A 24-year-old lady, a native of Nepal, mom of 2, operating as a caretaker of a space in Sector 9, was caught via the police with 2.750 kilogram of charas on her on Wednesday.

According to Panchkula crime investigation company (CIA-II), the girl’s used to offer drugs in small pouches within the town and used to carry the inventory from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.


The CIA-II incharge inspector Karambir Singh said that they gained a choice from their supply, in keeping with which they shaped a group to nab the girl.


According to him, the accused has been known as Namita Singh, 24, living in a storage of a space in Sector 9 for the last 2.five years with her husband and two kids.


The accused’s husband works as a side road supplier promoting Chinese rapid meals in Sector 9. The accused was arrested via the police from Vatika Park in Sector five, when she was seeking to promote the drug to her shoppers.


The accused was booked beneath Section 85 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drug Psychotropic Substances) Act via Sector five police station and the accused was produced prior to the district courtroom. The courtroom sent the accused to 3-day police remand.
