LUDHIANA: A hearth incident was reported in auto parts production unit in segment 8 of Focal Point on Sunday morning. The hearth brigade reached the spot for controlling the location. Due to thick smoke, it was getting tricky to keep an eye on the location. The hearth was in place of work space of the unit.
The station hearth officer Srishthi Nath Sharma published that fireside call was won at 7.30am and because then they were on the spot. He mentioned they were taking water from the adjacent unit which has prevented wastage of time in visiting nearest hearth stations.
