Vadodara: M S University has become some of the four universities in the country which has been known as a regional university that will scrutinize journals underneath University Grants Commission’s (UGC) Consortium for Academic and Research Ethics (Care) mission.
With a view to refining and strengthening its approved record of journals, the UGC in its 536th meeting on November 14 last 12 months had established CARE.

The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune, has been entrusted with the duty of magazine analysis for the aim of Care.

Further, the commission has known four regional universities to facilitate the method of receiving proposals from establishments in their region involved for consideration of inclusion of journals in the Care List of Journals.

The MSU has been entrusted with the process for the entire western region, while Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, has been assigned the process for the northern region. The University of Hyderabad has been entrusted with the duty of the southern region, while Tezpur University has been assigned the same duty for the jap region.

“The four universities will receive proposals from more than a few universities from their respective regions for the dignity of inclusion of journals in the Care List of Journals. These four universities will adopt number one scrutiny of the journals, and if discovered suitable, they're going to ahead the main points of journals to SPPU, Pune, for the general analysis,” mentioned a conversation sent by the UGC’s joint secretary, Dr Archana Thakur, to MSU vice-chancellor professor Parimal Vyas.
