Mangaluru: 25th edition of Alva's Virasat, national cultural fest from January 4

MANGALURU: Alva’s Virasat, national degree cultural fest is turning 25. Having began out with a motley audience of 500 tune lovers at Samaja Mandir, Moodbidri in 1995, the fest over the last 24-years has grown giant.

The 25th edition of this much awaited fest, Three-day affair this year will likely be held at sprawling Smt Vanajakshi K Shipathi Bhat amphitheatre in Moodbidri from January four, courtesy Alva’s Education Foundation.


On January four, N Vinaya Hegde, chairman, Nitte crew of Institutions will inaugurate the serve as barring a 75-minute inaugural serve as through lighting fixtures the lamp custom.


Hariharan, as reported previous, will receive Alva’s Virasat award in this instance. India Post will liberate special postal duvet to mark the silver jubilee celebration of Alva’s Virasat.


To coincide with Virasat, Foundation has also organised Alva’s Varna Virasat, national degree painting camp for contemporary artists that got underway on December 22 and conclude on January 6.


Dr Alva stated, it's also a possibility for other people to observe exhibition of uncommon paintings on the Nudisiri vedike all over this time.
