PATNA: Police are yet to arrest two more suspects in connection with a minor girl’s gang rape and homicide. Her frame used to be recovered from the timber close to railway tracks beneath the Bairgania police station space in Sitamarhi district on December 11.
The sufferer’s boyfriend, who could also be a minor, used to be arrested and sent to a remand home. One Anil Kumar (45) used to be also arrested tomorrow after the frame’s restoration, Bairgania SHO Sujeet Kumar said on Monday. Her postmortem record had conformed gang rape, he said.
Sitamarhi Sadar SDPO Kumar Vir Dhirendra said two more suspects had been yet to be arrested.
The deceased, a Class VIII student, used to be gang-raped and killed when she had long past to attend a marriage in a close-by temple on December 8 night. “Soon after the frame used to be discovered, her boyfriend used to be arrested on the basis of her name element file (CDR) as he used to be the last particular person to speak to the woman on her mobile phone,” the SDPO said.
“The deceased had demanded a smartphone from her boyfriend, who had expressed his incapability to oblige. He, however, had promised the woman that his neighbour Anil will give her a smartphone. Both the minors reached Anil’s place of dwelling on December 8 night. Anil then requested the boy to move home as it used to be getting overdue and confident him that he would drop the woman at her home. But the minor used to be then gang-raped and killed through Anil and his buddies and her frame used to be dumped in timber,” the SHO added.
