PATIALA: The police have booked a person underneath sections of the IPC, together with kidnapping and abduction, and sections of POCSO Act on a grievance of a local resident who alleged that the man abducted his 13-year-old daughter on the pretext of marriage.
The case has been registered with Julkan police of Narinder Singh, a resident of a village in Patiala. The police published that the accused, recognized as Gurjant Singh of Gharam village in the district, was once operating as a building labourer and advanced pleasant relations with the minor lady. He abducted the lady on Monday.
The police said that the accused was once nabbed on Tuesday evening after a number of raids had been performed in his village.
Julkan police station space officer claimed that the accused was once nabbed and will be produced ahead of the court docket by way of Wednesday. He said that the lady was once also rescued and will be handed to the circle of relatives after you have her scientific exam performed.
"The accused is 22-year-old and hails from Gharam village of the district. He used to come to house of the girl as he was working as labourer. The construction in the house of complainant was underway. He lured the girl allegedly and abducted her on the pretext of marriage following which case was registered." said police.
