RUDA leader govt officer P V Antani said, “This is part of 89km of four-phased Ring Road out of which first section is Gauridad to Kuvadva, followed by means of 2d section joining Jamnagar street to Kalavad Road, third section connecting Kalavad Road to Gondal Road and fourth section between Gondal Road and Ahmedabad Highway.” The entire ring street will pass via 29 villages and strategy of land acquisition has already begun, Antani added.


The RUDA in its assembly additionally finalized to widen the present two-lane Ring Road 2 between Ghanteshwar and Kalavad street into 4 lane.


The Mota Mauva bridge on Kalavad street which is lately a huge bottleneck will also be widened to 4 lane.


According to RUDA funds of Rs 100 crore has been allotted for the development and widening of roads and bridge.
