Two held for shooting at 60-year-old farmer, third suspect still on the run

GURUGRAM: Two persons had been arrested by means of the Farrukhnagar crime unit for allegedly shooting at a 60-year-old farmer, who objected to them visiting his homestead in Tajnagar village with a girl on Saturday afternoon. Police nabbed the duo on Monday afternoon while the 3rd suspect remains to be at the run. The farmer, who gained 5 bullet wounds in his abdomen and legs, remains to be essential.
On Saturday, farmer Om Prakash had long gone to water his farm when he found a girl and three men in an objectionable position inside of his homestead. He had scolded the trio and asked them to leave. But one of the most accused, Deepak alias Sardar had pulled out a gun and opened fireplace on the farmer. Besides the farmer, the woman was also injured on her foot after she was hit by means of bullet shells and then the accused fled on two bikes.

“We have arrested Pawan and Manish, citizens of Joniyawas ki Dhani but the primary accused Deepak alias Sardar, a resident of Tajnagar village, remains to be on run. Our teams are on task and he will be arrested quickly,” said Ok Ok Rao, police commissioner, Gurugram.


“Deepak had illicit relations with the woman, a resident of his village who's married and lived together with her husband in Delhi. It was the invention in their relationship that led to firing,” an investigating officer said.


The farmer and the woman were taken to the medical institution by means of different farmers who reached the spot on hearing the gunshots.


The farmer’s brother Surjeet had lodged a police criticism towards the accused on the Farrukhnagar police station.
