Youths fire shots, vandalise car, issue threats

MOHALI: Four drunken youths allegedly fired photographs within the air, vandalised a automobile and threatened to kill a person in Purab Premium Apartments on Friday, prompting the police to arrest 3 of the accused.

Jashandeep Singh, a resident of Moga, Ishu Sharma and Akush Kumar, each citizens of Rama Mandi, Bathinda, had been arrested on charges of attempt to murder, rioting, armed with fatal guns and underneath Sections of Arms Act. Simran Singh of Rama Mandi, Bathinda, is on the run.

Kuldeep Singh Chahal, SSP, stated, “The fourth accused will probably be arrested soon. The recovered weapon is an air gun but we can get it analysed at forensics division to establish its calibre.” In a video of the incident, the miscreants can also be noticed brandishing the gun and challenging the complainant to come back down from his flat. Swapan, in his criticism, stated he has no enmity with any person.
