COIMBATORE: The regional transport office here seized around 40 two-wheelers that have been illegally used as bike taxis, claiming to be a part of cab some aggregators.
The two-wheelers have been stuck in a power performed through autorickshaw drivers and passed over to the transport office.

After seizing many privately owned vehicles being illegally operated as vacationer taxis, the transport office has now begun cracking down on bikes which might be working as bike taxis.

“In motor automobile laws, there is no provision for bike or two-wheeler taxis. Thus, those two-wheelers are being operated as taxis without lets in,” mentioned joint transport commissioner, Krishnamoorthy.
