SURAT: Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti’s (PAAS) South Gujarat convener Alpesh Kathiriya is on the run after his bail was once cancelled through a neighborhood court in January in a sedition case. However, he like different leaders of his organizations remains connected along with his supporters through various communique mediums. The Lok Sabha elections are a couple of months away and PAAS leaders really feel they will have to go away their imprint on the polls too.
Recently, Kathiriya warned police of dire penalties in an audio message if his friends and family had been stressed to trace his location. The message seems to had been shared through Kathiriya after recording it on a mobile phone and within mins it went viral.
“Alpesh Kathiriya manages to stay in touch along with his supporters through various modes of communique. His purpose is to keep the motion going. He is fighting in opposition to legislation for reservation and we are with him,” PAAS convener Dharmik Malaviya mentioned.
Malaviya and different PAAS activists have began an indefinite speedy in Nana Varachha to call for bail for Kathiriya, who was once arrested 3 years after registration of sedition case in opposition to him. Strangely, Kathiriya is actively using generation to talk to his supporters but law enforcement officials are not able to nab him.
Kathiriya along side Hardik Patel, Vipul Desai and Chirag Desai had been booked on sedition fees at Amroli police station in October 2015. They had been booked after Hardik asked one of his followers to ‘kill 2-4 law enforcement officials’ on October three.
In August 2018, Ahmedabad police arrested him in a sedition case registered there and he were given bail in November. Immediately after his unencumber from Sabarmati Central Jail, he was once arrested through city police. Kathiriya were given bail in December 2018 in the sedition case registered at Amroli police station and another offence in opposition to him.
Kathiriya was once out on bail when he were given interested in several conflicts with the law enforcement officials. On December 28, he was once booked in four offences at Varachha and Sarthana police stations. He hurled abuses at law enforcement officials while in lockup and his video went viral. Later, the police approached the court asking for cancellation of his bail mentioning multiple legal circumstances in opposition to Kathiriya while on bail. Consequently, his bail was once cancelled on January 15.
