NOIDA: A day after an auto-driver used to be allegedly burnt to dying at his rented space in Surajpur house, his parents have alleged that their son used to be set on fire through two of his friends who had a dispute with him over payment for a brand new auto-rickshaw.
On Wednesday nighttime, the citizens of Sector Delta 1had informed Surajpur police that an individual had set himself on fire.
The sufferer used to be identified as Santram (28), a native of Hamirpur district.
On receiving the information about the burning, a police reaction automobile (PRV) had quickly reached the spot and rushed Santram to Sharda health facility in Knowledge Park from the place he used to be referred to Safdarjung health facility in Delhi.
Munish Chauhan, the SHO of Surajpur police station stated, “It has come to gentle that the deceased had been drinking alcohol at the side of two friends - Raju and Santosh - who are also his fellow auto drivers. His parents have complained that the duo had an argument over the payment of an auto-rickshaw. They suspect foul play in his dying claiming that they killed Santram,” he stated.
While Santram died the same night time at Safdarjung health facility, his parents came to grasp about the subject only a day later.
On the basis of the criticism filed through Santram’s parents, an FIR has been registered towards Raju and Santosh beneath Section 304 (dying through negligence) of the IPC at Surajpur police station.
