Ayush to hold food conclave on Feb 16

Thiruvananthapuram: The Ayush department will organise a ‘Good Food Conclave’ at Institute of Engineers Hall, near Kanakakkunnu, on February 16.
The match, which objectives to broaden wholesome food alternatives in response to the traditional systems of drugs, is part of a five-day global conclave scheduled to be held from February 15.

The conclave will act as a platform for discussing manufacturing, processing, distribution and sale of food intimately.

The Good Food Conclave will focus on the call for that the food policy must be formulated collectively by clinical practitioners, farmers and cooks.

The conclave can be attended by eminent clinical practitioners, well-known personalities in the food processing sector and young farmers.

It may even speak about about protein deficiencies, extra food and other recent problems and propose solutions for a similar.


Ayush cookery categories in response to the subject of ‘health via food’ can be organized for the general public, Kudumbashree workers and social welfare department workers on the premises of Jawahar Balabhavan from February 15 to 18. Good dishes in ayurveda, sidha, unani, homeopathy and naturopathy streams can be introduced in the categories.


Classes can be held in 4 batches from 11.30am to five.30pm. The registration price for the class is Rs 250.


The members can be given a e book containing 100 recipes both in English or Malayalam.
