B'luru: Ganja, LSD worth Rs 6.5L seized; 2 held

BENGALURU: A 19-year-old industry management student and his partner had been arrested in Suddaguntepalya, south Bengaluru, for allegedly trying to peddle ganja and LSD.
SG Palya police have recovered 10kg ganja and 18 LSD strips value Rs 6.five lakh from the duo.

Police stated Neelakanthan N, 19, studies BBA in a non-public faculty and is from Thrissur, Kerala, whilst his partner, Junaid Ahmed, 24, is a resident of New Gurappanapalya.


Neelakanthan arrived in the city ultimate 12 months and has been residing at a paying guest lodging near his faculty. He initially got in contact with Junaid to procure ganja for himself, but later started selling LSD and ganja, amongst different banned substances, in combination.


“They used to carry drugs from a man in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh,” stated police, including Junaid had previous been arrested via Mico Layout police for selling ganja and used to be out on bail in December 2018.


Preliminary investigation revealed Neelakanthan used to target IT staff, especially girls staying in PG lodging, to sell narcotics.
