SURAT: A watchman of a residential advanced in Jahangirpura was beaten below the wheels of a bus here on Friday morning. The victim was sound asleep below the bus when the motive force started it and sped away crushing him below the wheels. The driver was arrested in the night time.
Ranjit Vishwakarma, security guard of Riddhi Sidhi Row Houses, was sound asleep below the desk bound bus since night time to escape sit back. Driver Bahadur Hirji Vasava, 52, with out knowing that anyone was sound asleep below the bus, started it and drove away, crushing Ranjit below its wheels in the morning.
Vasava has been booked for rash and negligent using and a few sections of Motor Vehicles Act.
