CBSE 12th Exam 2019: Important topics for Commerce students

The vocation examination of CBSE Board exam 2019 for 12th scholars will start from Friday, February 15, and the assessments for educational topics might be held in March. With best few days left for the board assessments, scholars are steered to revise the entire important topics.

Here are some of the important topics for CBSE Class 12th Commerce scholars from Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Mathematics topics.

Accountancy

The Class 12 Accountancy syllabus focuses on world of commercial and emphasises strengthening the basics of the subject. The syllabus is designed to develop an understanding in regards to the recording of commercial transactions and preparation of financial statements. Commerce scholars can either choose Company Accounts or Analysis of Financial Statements as their matter. The total syllabus is divided into 3 portions and Part A is not unusual for each components. Part A, Accounting for Not-for-Profit Organisations, Partnership Firms and Companies has 3 devices corresponding to Financial Statements of Not-for-Profit Organisations, Accounting for Partnership Firms, and Accounting for Companies which is awarded 60 marks.

i) Syllabus of Analysis of Financial Statements: Analysis of Financial Statements has two portions which come with Financial Statement Analysis and Project Work. Financial State Analysis consists of 2 devices i.e., Analysis of Financial Statements and Cash Flow Statement which is awarded 20 marks. Project Work will evaluate Project File, Written Test, and Viva Voce which is of 20 marks.

ii) Syllabus of Company Accounts: Syllabus of Computerized Accounting divided into two portions i.e., Computerised Accounting and Practical Work. Computerized Accounting is of 20 marks. Practical work will include practical file, practical examination and viva voice which is awarded 20 marks.

Business Studies

The Business Studies syllabus prepares scholars to manage the operations and assets of the industry. The syllabus is divided into 3 portions which come with Principles and Functions of Management, Business Finance and Marketing and Project Work. Part A, Principles and Functions of Management, consist of the Nature and Significance of Management, Principles of Management, Business Environment, Planning, Organising, Staffing, Directing and Controlling. This phase is awarded 50 marks. Part B Business Finance and Marketing include Financial Management, Financial Markets, Marketing Management, and Consumer Protection which is of 20 marks. Part C is Project Work which is of 20 marks.

Economics

The Economics syllabus is helping the scholars to grasp elementary economic concepts and construction of monetary reasoning.

Economics syllabus consists of three devices I.e., Introductory Microeconomics Part A, Introductory Microeconomics Part B and Project Work. The first unit Introductory Microeconomics Part A includes Introduction, Consumer's Equilibrium and Demand, Producer Behaviour and Supply, and Forms of Market and Price Determination underneath easiest competition with easy programs which is given 40 marks.


The second unit, Introductory Macroeconomics Part B, consists of National Income and Related Aggregates, Money and Banking, Determination of Income and Employment, Government Budget and the Economy, Balance of Payments which is given 40 marks. The Final and third unit is Project work which is awarded 20 marks.


Mathematics


The Mathematics syllabus targets to lend a hand scholars to feel the drift of causes while proving a problem. The matter consists of six devices i.e., Relations and Functions, Algebra, Calculus, Vectors, and Three-Dimensional Geometry, Linear Programming, and Probability. Units are given 10, 13, 44, 17, 6 and 10 marks respectively. The examination is of 100 marks.
