CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh Police has submitted a charge-sheet towards six accused within the F Bar firing case involving some local BJP leaders who had long gone there on the birthday of political secretary to local MP Kirron Kher, Sehdev Salaria. The charge-sheet comprises around 40 witness and runs into 200 pages.
The sections beneath which the charge-sheet has been filed are 307(attempt to murder), 506 (punishment for prison intimidation.), 148(rioting, armed with deadly weapon),146 (rioting), 149 (each member of unlawful assembly to blame of offence dedicated in prosecution of common object), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 201(inflicting disappearance of proof of offence or giving false knowledge to screen offender) of the IPC and Section 25, 27 54,55 of the Arms Act.
The accused towards whom the charge-sheet has been filed are F Bar owner Gunkaran, Dadumajra resident Rinku, UT police constable's (posted at the Sector three police station) son Arjun Thakur (stated to be a resident of Sector 51), Sector 24 resident Chetan Munjal, Sector 56 resident Rajesh Paswan and Bapu Dham colony resident Rimpy. All sections towards the five accused are similar, on the other hand, Gunkaran has been chargesheeted beneath Section 188 and 201 of the IPC.
The topic dates again to November 19, 2018. Shots had been fired all over the birthday celebrations of a BJP chief in an eatery of Sector 26 within the early hours of Tuesday, leaving 4 persons injured. Municipal company mayor Davesh Moudgil and local BJP staff had been provide within the party of Sahdev Salaria, political adviser to local MP Kirron Kher, at the eatery. However, Moudgil and Salaria claimed that they'd left the venue when violence broke out amongst two teams around 12.30am.
Police stated that the 2 parties - all supporters of BJP - entered a heated argument over some political factor. Within seconds, Chetan Munjal and Rinku, two of the five accused, pulled out their pistols and fired 3 rounds. They, along with Arjun, assaulted the opposite crew's participants with blunt weapons.
Other visitors intervened and stopped the fight, calling up the police. The injured had been taken to Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, prior to a PCR (police control room) car arrived. Sector 26 station house officer Poonam Dilawari, along with extra police power and a forensic crew, reached the spot and had inspected it.
The injured had been Jaideep Singh and Deepak Kundu, both citizens of Sector 46, and Yogeshwar and Pankaj Chibber, both citizens of Mohali. Jaideep and Yogeshwar gained bullet accidents. Cops mentioned Jaideep is the son of UT police head constable and was once the president of Sector 32's SD College scholar council in 2015.
