CM-LG standoff: Puducherry CM hoists black flag

PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry leader minister V Narayanasamy on Sunday hoisted a black flag at his residence as a mark of protest in opposition to Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi.
Narayanaswamy has been sitting on a dharna for the ultimate five days tough the Centre to recall Bedi and enforce the helmet enforcement rule in a phased manner.

On Saturday, Bedi had written an open letter inviting the Chief Minister for a dialogue in a public discussion board.

In a direct response to the letter posted by Bedi on her blog, Narayanasamy in a sequence of tweets hit back on the Governor questioning her efforts to paintings for the folks of the state.


"Please do not fool Puducherrians by your social media campaigns," he tweeted.


Bedi has been at loggerheads with the Puducherry executive on quite a lot of problems, with Narayanasamy accusing her of delaying clearance to welfare schemes and bypassing the elected executive.


On Wednesday, the Chief Minister had begun a protest out of doors the Raj Bhawan, Bedi's reliable residence, alleging that she used to be misusing her powers and likewise interfering in the day by day actions of the federal government.
