AHMEDABAD: Parents of a five-year-old lady on Wednesday night filed a criticism with Shahpur police alleging that their daughter used to be thrashed by means of her schoolteacher at Rosebird college in Khanpur area of the town.
According to the FIR filed by means of Javed Syed, a resident of Jamalpur, when he went to obtain his daughter, a scholar of class-1, at the college, he discovered her weeping and noticed marks on her face. When Syed asked his daughter, she informed him that her classteacher named Sajeda has been thrashing her for previous one week. The teacher had earlier thrown a compass box at the child from which she suffered injury on her neck and had treatment for 2 days. Though Syed complained about this to college government, they did not start up any action towards the teacher. On Wednesday, the teacher once more slapped the girl badly and then her folks approached police.
Shahpur police registered an FIR towards the teacher for cruelty to a kid under Juvenile Justice act and started an investigation into the case.
