GREATER NOIDA: With deforestation on upward push and flora and fauna coverage becoming a question of shock, birds are getting homeless and helpless close to Surajpur wetland.
Under the marketing campaign "World Housing", environmentalist Vikrant Tongad and his foundation at the side of different persons are growing nests for birds in the woodland space. Till date they've made greater than 100 nests. "People have made concrete forests after cutting trees and the birds are paying the price for the same", Vikrant says including he is operating Nature Walk Program through Social action for Forest and Environment. People from IT, bank and different sectors are collaborating in the programme.
Vikrant's foundation invites youths to visit Surajpur wetland and hang nests there. Many persons are hanging synthetic nests of their houses to assist birds in finding shelter. He is awaking younger technology for the purpose and welcoming them to sign up for the marketing campaign.
