Lenders attack share trader over failure to repay loan

VADODARA: A share trader from Bhavnagar was assaulted and threatened through mortgage sharks in Raopura on Saturday night.

Two accused known as Mahendrasinh Chauhan and Javed Parmar have been nabbed, whilst the 3rd accused Musa Solanki controlled to flee. Complainant Vaibhav Shah had borrowed Rs five.five lakh from Parmar and Rs one lakh from Chauhan.


Shah told police in his criticism that due to losses, he was not able to pay per thirty days interest of Rs 1 lakh to Parmar and Rs five,000 to Chauhan. As Shah was afraid that the mortgage sharks will pass to any extreme to get their a reimbursement, he came to Vadodara fortnight again to live with his aunt close to common publish place of job (GPO).


However, the trio learnt that Shah was hiding within the city they usually reached right here at the side of four local ruffians. Shah alleged he suffered severe injuries within the attack. When one of the most accused even threatened him of his existence at knifepoint if he did not return the cash, Shah known as police control room.


When the cops reached Shah’s aunt’s home, all accused aside from Parmar and Chauhan fled away. The duo was arrested for rioting, attack and prison intimidation.
