Maha: Over 8L low-cost housing units approved

PUNE: The state government has authorized 460 inexpensive residential tasks comprising eight.29 lakh devices to provide a much-needed spice up to the cheap housing phase in Maharashtra.


The tasks will likely be undertaken by way of the Maharashtra Housing Area Development Authority (MHADA) and nearly 62 personal builders where the latter will give a contribution with nearly 2.five lakh inexpensive housing devices. The transfer goals at assembly the target of 19.40 lakh cheap devices within the state by way of 2022, officials from the state housing department said.


"The units will be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and would mostly come up in Pune and Mumbai metropolitan regions, besides Kolhapur and Nagpur," they added. - Nisha Nambiar
