AMBALA: The police here have booked a person and his mother for allegedly subjecting his spouse to cruelty.
The complainant alleged that her husband has been mercilessly beating her and her in-laws have cheated her family members by telling lies earlier than the marriage.
As according to the ideas, their marriage used to be solemnised in December 2016.
The lady said in her grievance, “Before we were given married, my in-laws instructed us that my sweetheart's father stays abroad, but I sooner or later got here to grasp that he is declared a proclaimed perpetrator. After the marriage, we shifted to Baltana in Mohali, where the my husband and in-laws started to misbehave and demanded money. My husband used to beat me and h also started having an extramarital affair.”
A case has been registered below Sections 323, 406, and 498-A towards the husband and partner's mother of the complainant at the Ambala Cantonment police station.
SHO Vijay Kumar stated, “The subject got here to us throughout the ladies cellular and we've registered a case and started investigation.”
