MUMBAI: A counter-terror mock drill was conducted at a hypermarket in Virar on Thursday night time.
The half-an-hour drill stuck customers and public through surprise. The drill was conducted through the Palghar district police at the side of Riot Control Police ( RCP) and Quick Response Team ( QRT) at 5pm on the Dmart hypermarket at Virar.
The drill saw the uniformed policemen pinning down a dummy terrorist.
The drill was undertaken to test the anti-terror reaction of the policemen.
Three cops and 25 staff participated in the drill.
