NOIDA: Metro medical institution had now not renewed its no-objection certificates from the fireplace department since 2017. Patients also complained that the medical institution workforce have been so ill-equipped to care for an emergency that they may now not even find the switch to the water-sprinklers, that have been now not automated however linked to the genset.

Chief fireplace officer AK Singh confirmed the medical institution had remaining sought an NOC in 2017. “They got a provisional NOC for three months, with a condition that the proper certificates might be given handiest after the medical institution finished all of the requirements. Since then, no NOC were issued to them,” he stated.
Aman Sharma, deputy director of the fireplace department (Meerut department) who inspected the medical institution after the fireplace, stated though equipment have been in position, it needed to be tested if they worked. “It also needs to be noticed if the escape routes have been right kind or now not,” he added.
Patients at the medical institution stated the workforce, who began the primary evacuation, were not correctly trained.
“They have been searching for the switch to start the water sprinkler system however could now not.
