Mohali: Mohali police have booked an area resident for duping a Panchkula resident of Rs 18.50 lakh at the pretext of selling the victim a plot in Kharar.
The victim alleged that she had bought a plot from the accused in 2012. However, neither did the accused gave her the possession of the plot nor returned her cash. The accused has been known as J S Riar, a resident of Phase IX, Mohali.
The victim is a resident of Sector 12A, Panchkula.
