Rose festival ends, chopper ride a big hit

CHANDIGARH: The three-day annual Rose Festival concluded right here on Sunday.

Swar Ragini Mestro Pt Subhash Ghosh, a renowned artist, performed various numbers, including “Vaishnav jan ko tere kahiye re…”, “ae vatan, ae vatan, hamko teri kasam”, “ye desh hai veer javaano ka…” and “ekla chaalo re…” and so forth to pay tributes to the martyrs of the Pulwama attack.

Adviser to the Chandigarh administrator Manoj Kumar Parida visited the Rose Garden on the closing day and paid homage to the CRPF martyrs at the “Amar Jawaan”.
