KOLKATA: A 35-year-old guy used to be arrested on Tuesday for allegedly killing his two-year-old stepdaughter close to Maidan on January 31.
Tapan Sardar had smashed the girl's head with a stone whilst the girl used to be sleeping. Later, he threw her frame right into a drain. The family used to stay at the footpath opposite the Gangasagar transit camp floor at the Maidan.
Cops mentioned the frame, recovered from the Kingsway-Strand Road crossing, had the pinnacle smashed and face brutally broken.
They added the girl's mother had complained that the kid and Sardar had long past missing on January 30, since that they had long past out for a stroll.
Sardar's mobile tower location used to be tracked and he used to be held from Ekbalpore area.
