NOIDA: A 15-year-old orphan was allegedly raped through the “brother” of a lady who had equipped shelter to the teenager at her house in Chandigarh. The woman, police stated, adopted the lady as her foster mom after her parents died a couple of years again but made her do all the family chores.
The lady was spotted wandering in a saggy situation close to Noida’s Sector 18 underpass some 15 days again through a passerby who had knowledgeable the Childline, an NGO.
After Childline produced the lady before the kid welfare committee (CWC), the latter despatched her to a childcare home where she underwent counselling.
According to police, the lady narrated her ordeal to the counsellor only after spending a fortnight in the care home. She had lost her parents a couple of years again but does now not even know where she belongs to.
“The lady was now not very open first of all and reluctant to share all the info. However, virtually after 15 days, she shared along with her counsellor that she was earlier staying with a lady who would act as her foster mom. The lady controlled to loose herself from the clutches of the girl and her so-called brother in Chandigarh and reached Gurgaon.

Uday Pratap, SHO of Sector 39 police station, stated the lady has shared the details of an address in Chandigarh. “She has revealed that along side making her do family chores, a man who stayed in the home claiming to be the girl’s brother sexually assaulted her,” the officer stated.
“After staying in Chandigarh, the lady allegedly stayed at a house in Gurgaon, but she isn't very transparent about this place. As according to the CWC’s instructions, the Sector 39 police has been knowledgeable. More data will be shared with them as soon as she unearths more about the home,” the Childline reliable stated.
Sector 39 SHO, then again, stated that an FIR will be lodged only after an inspection of the positioning in Chandigarh, identified as the spot of the alleged crime. “Once the details are confirmed, a case will be lodged,” he stated.
The clinical exam of the lady is still pending.
