SURAT: On Thursday, Surat reported 14 new instances of swine flu from town and rural areas. Of them, 12 are from Surat town. With this, 187 other people have thus far been reported to have suffered from H1N1in the town since January 1. One affected person has died.
Surat rural reported two instances on Thursday, taking the whole collection of affected other people to 33, of whom 3 sufferers have died. The new instances reported within the town include 3 kids beneath five years of age — a four-year-old girl from Athwalines, a three-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy from Limbayat.
Apart from them, five are females from City Light house, Ring Road, Varachha, Lalita Chowk, Amroli and Causeway Road, while the four male sufferers hail from Matawadi, Anand Mahal Road and Jahangirpura areas. New instances within the district include a feminine from Olpad and a male from Kamrej.
