MADURAI: In different cases, the Madurai town police arrested 4 men for illegally promoting liquor.
A Prohibition and Enforcement Wing (PEW) group led via special sub-inspectors Babu and Suresh caught P Manikandan,38, and Mothilal,52, of Thiru Nagar when they had been promoting liquor near two different Tasmac outlets in the early hours of Friday.
The group seized a complete of 23 bottles of liquor (180 ml bottles) from the duo. They had been arrested and launched on bail.
The Thilgar Thidal police too seized 23 bottles from two men -- A Santhakumar, 38, and A Ulaganathan. They had been arrested and launched on bail.
