5-day police custody for rape accused

Nagpur: Lakadganj police on Thursday produced the accused of rape of two minor women sooner than court that remanded him in police custody until March 4. The accused known as Karan alias Buntya Dange was once arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping two women elderly 6 and four.

A bunch of other people also arrived at Lakadganj police station on Thursday challenging strict action against the accused. The staff returned after being confident by way of the police that the accused will face strictest action underneath the legislation.

The two women had been playing at a ground near their house on Tuesday when the accused lured them by way of claiming to take them house. Dange took the survivors to a secluded place and raped them at knifepoint. Police had nabbed the accused inside 24 hours of the incident.

It is learnt that cops followed the lead they were given from the women in regards to the look of the accused. Cops are learnt to have interrogated around 50 other people whose one eye was once smaller than the other, as the women had described the accused. Cops then zeroed in on Dange and all through interrogation he confessed the crime.
