Anna University UAV sets world record

CHENNAI: The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), which governs air sports the world over, has declared that Anna University holds the world report for hovering a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for the longest length.
This report relates to multirotor UAV within the five to 25 kg class and this can be a first of its kind with out a previous report history, in step with an authentic liberate.

The attempt was made by a UAV developed by the Centre for Aerospace Research (CASR) at Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) functioning under Anna University.


FAI and Aero Club of India (ACI) representatives and different mavens had been provide when the staff tried the report in July 2018.
