ALLAHABAD: The government of Allahabad University is all set to re-advertise the vacant instructing positions at the campus. This follows the hot decision of the central govt by which it has been decided that University would be thought to be as a unit whilst deciding the implementation of roster in providing reservation in the vacant posts.
With this, AU would be coming out with a fresh commercial for around 550 vacant instructing positions in different departments that are lying vacate for a number of years.
This decision used to be taken on the assembly of the Executive Council (EC) of AU. “It used to be decided that the now AU would practice the 200 point roster device as in step with the brand new decision of the central govt”, said AU PRO, Chitranjan Kumar.
Earlier, AU used to be following the 13 point roster device following which department used to be being thought to be on the unit for imposing roaster. AU had carried out selection committee for collection of positions and in fact filled 54 vacant positions. However, when the UGC prompt to put a grasp at the recruitment procedure, varsity had postponed the method.
The EC also decided that from the coming educational consultation, all of the students might be depositing an additional quantity of around Rs 100 alongside in their annual fee which might be the once a year fees towards insurance coverage scheme that may be provided to them.
The report of the intervening time committee, constituted for probing the charges of financial irregularities towards the former controller of exam (COE) Prof H S Upadhyay, used to be also tabled on the EC. The report has found the former COE concerned in the irregularities and the EC has decided to represent any other committee, headed via a retired justice of the Allahabad High Court to signify the motion that should be taken towards the COE, said the PRO.
The EC also authorized the amendments made in the AU Ordinance relating starting PhD courses at stage schools. “It has been authorized and from the coming educational consultation (2019-20) and then all of the constituent schools of AU would also conduct PhD route”, he said.
Another report, relating truth discovering committee constituted in regard to allegation of sexual harassment towards a instructing school of the dept of Hindi via any other senior trainer of the same department, used to be tabled in the assembly. Likewise, 24 instructing school members of AU have been promoted beneath CAS (occupation advancement scheme).
The EC also authorized the enhanced remuneration to be paid to the guest school at AU.
