RANCHI: The Ranchi district administration will mark outstanding personalities in the town as ‘VIP’ voters this Lok Sabha election and make sure they are not excluded from the electoral roll. The VIP voters will also be given details about their polling booths to ensure hassle-free balloting for them.
Ranchi deputy commissioner, Rai Mahimapat Ray said: “In easy phrases, a voter will probably be marked as a ‘VIP’ at the record if they have got any position to play in encouraging other voters to workout their franchise. They will also be opinion developers or outstanding faces from town. The goal is to make sure that their identify is provide at the electoral roll and that they face no problems in identifying the sales space they're supposed to solid their votes in.”
The ‘VIP’ voters will include outstanding place of business bearers in private and public organizations, former MLAs, MPs, doctors, businessmen and outstanding politicians among others. Journalists will also be integrated in the record.
