Over 2,000 residents of BHEL Township in Sector 16 celebrated a waterless Holi. The residents danced to the music and performed Holi with herbal colors. It was a party with Holi-special delicacies like ‘Thandai’, ‘Dahi Bhalle’ and ‘Gujiya’ that have been offered to the entire residents.
“People of all ages came in combination and celebrated Holi without water. We believe water is a herbal resource which is soon depleting and we should now not waste it. We wish to unfold the message that Holi can also be performed without water and it is a lot more fun that method,” mentioned Balwir Talwar, a resident of BHEL Township, Sector 16.
