Brawl over parking in Aligarh, 13 booked

AGRA: Tension prevailed in Aligarh after 5 persons have been allegedly assaulted through a bunch of folks from some other neighborhood in Baraula Jafrabad area on Wednesday following an argument over parking of vehicles on a road.


According to police, the incident occurred around 4:30 pm, when Yogendra Singh Lodhi, along side his brothers have been coming house from their box in an e-rickshaw. Lodhi used to be unable to enter the realm because it used to be blocked through some parked vehicles. When he had asked for the vehicles to be removed, folks from the opposite neighborhood allegedly began abusing him.


Yogendra mentioned around 30-35 folks accrued there and began raising slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and resorted to stone pelting. They allegedly attacked Yogendra and his brothers Rameshwar and Raj Kumar with sticks. When some folks came to their rescue, the mob allegedly attacked them too.


Police mentioned that 5 injured folks, Yogendra, Rameshawar, Raj Kumar, Rajendra Kumar and Naresh have been admitted at Malkhan Singh District hospital. A case has been registered in opposition to 13 folks together with Shahrukh, Amzad, Naseem and others under sections 147 (rioting), 307 (attempt to homicide), 336 (Act endangering life or personal safety of others), and 325 (voluntarily inflicting grievous harm) on the basis of a criticism filed through Yogendra.
