BENGALURU: JD(S) leader HD Deve Gowda is facing rebellion in Tumakuru seat an afternoon after he announced he'll contest from there. The Tumakuru MP, SP Muddahanumegowda of Congress, mentioned on Saturday he would document his nomination.
Tumakuru is without doubt one of the 8 seats conceded to JD(S) as a part of the seatsharing exercise. Muddahanumegowda is the only MP in Congress who was denied a price ticket.
“I can document my nomination on Monday. No one can stop me,” he mentioned.
Congress leaders, led by means of deputy leader minister G Parameshwara, is more likely to meet the MP on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, JD(S) mentioned Gowda would document nomination on Monday as a joint candidate of the JDS-Congress alliance in Tumakuru.
