THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Af ter a long prolong over its Pathanamthitta candidate, the BJP after all announced the name of Ok Surendran. The firebrand leader, who was once in the leading edge of the Sabarimala agitation was once thought to be the frontrunner in a seat which many consider the BJP has the most productive likelihood of profitable in Kerala.
The BJP central election committee on Saturday announced Surendran's candidature, ending hypothesis that the celebration's state president P Sreedharan Pillai might be given the seat or that the Pathanamthitta candidate's fate was once related to who would contest from the BDJS's allotted seat in Thrissur.
Surendran had unsuccessfully contested two times from Kasaragod Lok Sabha seat and Manjeswaram Assembly seat. Last time in 2016, alternatively, he lost the election through a whisker. Following the announcement, Surendran was once visibly jubilant, whilst Sreedharan Pillai mentioned Surendran would script history. "Surendran is a popular leader of BJP. He will make history'', he mentioned.
