Delay on northern railway route

Ludhiana: Passengers had to face a difficult time on Wednesday as greater than 15 long-route trains coming from south-eastern portions of the rustic arrived late via a number of hours at town railway station because of ongoing building work of restricted height subways on the northern railway route.
Passengers looking ahead to trains going to Mumbai, Assam, Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar gave the impression extra impatient as those trains arrived in with delay of greater than six to seven hours.

Speaking to inquiry officials at Ludhiana railway station, “Howrah Express was behind schedule the most as it arrived at the town railway station around 11.50am with the actual arrival timings at around 5.40am.”


Lohit Express arrived late at the town railway station with a delay of greater than seven hours and 15 mins at around 2.15pm as an alternative of arrival time at 7.15am on Wednesday right here. Jansewa Express (operating from Saharsa to Amritsar) also arrived late via six hours. It was anticipated to reach at 9pm, as an alternative of 3pm.


Amrapali Express (from Katihar to Amritsar) arrived late at the town railway station with a delay of one hour at around 10.15pm within the night which normally arrives at 9.20am.
