NOIDA: A 3rd-year LLB scholar of Galgotias University allegedly dedicated suicide by means of hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her paying visitor lodging in Sector Alpha 2 on Friday afternoon. Police said the 22-year-old lady used to be allegedly being stressed by means of her ex-boyfriend who threatened to show a few of her objectionable footage to her father.
Both the man and the woman had been from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. They were in a relationship for the previous few years, but broke up in January.
On Friday, the woman’s ex-boyfriend had reached her father’s workplace in Jhansi from where he allegedly known as her as soon as again and threatened to show her footage.
“I noticed him outdoor my workplace on Friday but didn't know the explanation,” said the woman’s father to police.
The lady’s more youthful sister, who lived with her at the paying visitor lodging, said her sister took her lifestyles round 1.30pm, mins after she ended a convention call with her ex-boyfriend and her school good friend.
The sufferer’s sister is a first-year scholar in the similar college. “During the convention call, her ex-boyfriend asked me how long I knew her. After someday, he known as me separately to inform that she used to be not choosing up his calls and asked me to check on her,” said the woman’s school good friend.
Later, when the good friend went with an another good friend to the woman’s PG, they found the door of her room locked. The duo then peeped within the room through a window and found her hanging from the ceiling fan. They then knowledgeable her parents and the control of the college. The lady’s father has filed a grievance towards the ex-boyfriend at Kasna police station. “My daughter could not devote suicide. She used to be a brave girl. We want justice,” her father said.
On the root of the grievance, the man has been booked underneath IPC Section 306 (abetment of suicide).
